About Sunshine Lane

Built on Compassion. Grounded in Purpose.

Sunshine Lane Supportive Housing was founded with a single conviction: every young person, regardless of their past, deserves a safe place to heal and a real chance to grow.

Our Story

Sunshine Lane Supportive Housing is a licensed nonprofit Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) in Hemet, California. We are proud to hold our STRTP certificate and fill a critical need in Southern California's child welfare and juvenile justice systems — providing a high-quality, trauma-informed residential option for youth ages 13–18 who need more than a traditional group home can offer.

Located in the heart of Riverside County, Sunshine Lane serves youth placed through county agencies across Riverside, Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino Counties. We operate in full compliance with California's Community Care Licensing Division and Title 22 regulations.

Our founders bring experience in child welfare, social services, and residential care — and a deep personal commitment to the young people who will call Sunshine Lane home.

Our Mission

To offer young people a stable, structured, and compassionate home environment where they can heal, grow, and prepare for their next chapter — whether that's reunification with family, independent living, or another supportive placement.

Our Vision

A Southern California where every youth in the child welfare and juvenile justice system has access to high-quality, trauma-informed residential care that honors their dignity, supports their healing, and prepares them for a hopeful future.

What We Stand For

Dignity

Every resident is treated with unconditional respect and dignity — regardless of their history, behavior, or placement status.

Consistency

Healing happens in stable environments. We provide predictable routines, reliable staff, and a home that feels the same every day.

Collaboration

We work closely with county agencies, families, therapists, and schools to ensure every youth's plan is coordinated and supported.

Accountability

We hold ourselves to the highest standards of care, documentation, and compliance — because the youth we serve deserve nothing less.

Hope

We believe in the capacity of every young person to heal and grow. Our program is built to nurture that belief every single day.

Transparency

We communicate openly with placing agencies, families, and partners — building trust through honesty and consistent follow-through.
